HELIOS SOLAR AG Expands into Asia with Key Acquisition and Collaboration

HELIOS SOLAR AG, a prominent player in photovoltaic projects, announced a strategic acquisition and a new partnership aimed at project development in Asia. The company has acquired 100% of AURORA SOLAR CITY Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysian entity, for EUR 1.00. Although AURORA has yet to begin operations, it was established by a HELIOS board member to focus on sustainable residential and township projects, emphasizing ESG principles and solar energy.

AURORA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with MaMing Property Management Sdn. Bhd. for potential project collaborations in Malaysia, Cambodia, and Kazakhstan. AURORA will handle project development and financing, whereas MaMing will act as a project management consultant. The MOU, effective for 12 months from August 2026, lays the groundwork for formal agreements, although specific investment figures and earnings are not yet determined.
