H2APEX Announces 2024 Financial Results
H2APEX Group SCA reported a significant increase in revenue for the 2024 financial year, reaching EUR 29.6 million, doubling the previous year's revenue of EUR 15.3 million. This slightly surpassed the forecast of EUR 28 million. However, the company recorded an adjusted EBITDA of EUR -16.3 million, a slight increase from 2023's EUR -16.1 million, with a net loss of EUR -27.8 million, up from EUR -24.6 million in the prior year.
CEO Peter Rößner expressed satisfaction with the overall results, noting success in revenue growth and efforts to reduce operating losses. For 2025, the company anticipates a temporary sales decline as it shifts focus to its own projects, aiming for sustainable growth and exploring strategic financial partnerships.
Part of H2APEX's strategy includes expanding its production capacity, which is expected to offer greater revenue stability and reduce dependency on volatile project business. CFO Bert Althaus indicated that future revenues would come from operating hydrogen plants, planning, and construction for third-party companies.
This expansion aims to leverage the company's expertise in hydrogen projects and capitalize on current market conditions to increase market share and support decarbonization efforts across various industries.
