Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (HEIDELBERG) announced a new joint venture with Ondas Autonomous Systems Inc., a subsidiary of Ondas Holdings Inc. This collaboration aims to address the rising demand for autonomous drone defense systems in Europe. The partnership will focus on safeguarding critical infrastructure and expanding market reach across the continent.

Ondas will hold a 51% stake in the venture, while HEIDELBERG will possess 49%. Initially, the venture will market Ondas products in Germany and Ukraine, with plans for broader European sales. Future strategies include enhancing local assembly and manufacturing using European supply chains to industrialize production smoothly. The collaboration integrates American-Israeli defense innovations with German manufacturing prowess, promising rapid deployment and enhanced European defense autonomy.
