Heidelberg Pharma Reveals Promising Data for Pamlectabart Tismanitin
Heidelberg Pharma AG presented new clinical data for its lead ATAC candidate, Pamlectabart Tismanitin, at the IMS Annual Meeting 2026. Based on Phase I data, a Recommended Phase 2 Dose (RP2D) of 175 µg/kg was established. The Phase I study showed a favorable safety profile, with no maximum tolerated dose reached. The drug is being tested in patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM).
The clinical study included 53 heavily pretreated RRMM patients with a median of five prior treatments. Results showed a 42% overall response rate in Cohorts 5-9, with Cohort 9 achieving a response in two out of five patients. The trial continues to evaluate safety and efficacy in this patient population.
Dr. Dongzhou Jeffery Liu, CEO of Heidelberg Pharma, expressed confidence in the candidate’s potential to meet unmet needs in multiple myeloma treatment. With the RP2D set, further study in Phase IIa is underway.
