Healthcare Holding Schweiz AG Expands with Medddbase Acquisition

Healthcare Holding Schweiz AG, a prominent Swiss medical technology distributor, has acquired a majority stake in Medddbase International AG. This strategic move strengthens its service offerings across Switzerland, the EU, and the UK. Medddbase, based in Buchs, St. Gallen, specializes in medical product commercialization and logistics. For 20 years, they have supported over 50 medical technology manufacturers, handling nearly half a million product shipments annually.

Fabian Kröher, Chairman of Healthcare Holding Schweiz AG, emphasized the acquisition's value, offering expanded services like import logistics and regulatory roles via QUNIQUE, a subsidiary. Luigi Bivi, Board Member of Medddbase, sees this partnership enhancing their market presence and accelerating growth in Europe.
