HDF Energy and Pertamina NRE Partner for Hydrogen Projects in Indonesia
PT HDF Energy Indonesia and PT Pertamina New & Renewable Energy (Pertamina NRE) have signed a Joint Study Development Agreement (JSDA) in Jakarta. This partnership focuses on developing green hydrogen and battery storage projects in Indonesia, bolstering energy independence and supporting decarbonization efforts.
The agreement highlights the potential of HDF Energy's Renewstable® power plants, which combine solar or wind energy with hydrogen storage, offering a stable power supply. This technology is particularly beneficial for remote Indonesian areas heavily reliant on imported diesel fuel.
The collaboration aims to foster a hydrogen ecosystem in Indonesia, exploring various industrial applications. This initiative aligns with the country's energy transition objectives and strengthens HDF Energy's position in the region.
