Sovico and Hamburg Enhance Economic Collaboration

Sovico Group, a major Vietnamese conglomerate, and the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg have inked a Partnership Agreement. This collaboration, signed at Saigon Marina IFC, aims to boost cooperation across aviation, railways, finance, logistics, technology, and education. The strategic alliance intends to link Vietnamese enterprises with Hamburg's industrial and commercial sectors and leverage its position as a European gateway.

The agreement was finalized during Hamburg First Mayor Peter Tschentscher's visit to HDBank's headquarters, where discussions focused on joint business prospects. In a recent forum, Sovico Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao suggested direct Vietnam-Germany air links and collaboration on infrastructure projects.

Hamburg showcased its strengths in various sectors, while Thao highlighted potential developments in airports, railways, and smart cities. Sovico's existing ties with Germany, especially in aviation and finance, underpin the new framework for joint ventures.
