H2APEX Acquires Key Hydrogen Project at Lubmin

On July 1, 2025, H2APEX Group SCA completed its acquisition of HH2E Werk Lubmin GmbH. This strategic move solidifies H2APEX's position in the hydrogen sector, granting it control over a crucial project in Germany. The Lubmin location offers significant advantages, including connectivity to offshore wind farms, ensuring a steady supply of renewable energy.

The company's plans include the development of a 100 MW plant by 2028, with a potential expansion to 1,000 MW. Existing infrastructure, such as grid and water connections, will enhance the project's execution. This acquisition also allows H2APEX to integrate expertise from the HH2E team, bolstering its workforce with specialized talent.

Through this expansion, H2APEX aims to strengthen its role in producing and distributing green hydrogen, aligning with its broader strategy for sustainable energy advancement.
