Gungnir Resources' Lappvattnet Project Gains "National Interest" Status in Sweden
The Swedish Geological Survey (SGU) has designated Gungnir Resources Inc.'s Lappvattnet Nickel Project as a "Property of National Interest." This status provides protection from competing land uses, potentially streamlining future permits and enhancing investment prospects. The Lappvattnet and Rormyrberget nickel deposits, located along the "Nickel Line" in Vasterbotten District, hold a combined inferred resource of 80 million kg of nickel.
Gungnir boasts 100% ownership of these properties, accessible year-round with robust infrastructure. The company first drilled Lappvattnet in 2021, uncovering potential for expansion, notably in the project's eastern section. With this new designation, Gungnir aims to secure funding and partnerships to advance its exploration and development initiatives.
