Pilot Mountain: Geophysical Survey Unveils Promising Porphyry Target
Guardian Metal Resources plc has announced significant findings from a three-dimensional induced polarisation (3DIP) geophysical survey at the Pilot Mountain project in Nevada. The survey, part of an ongoing exploration focused on copper-molybdenum deposits, revealed compelling anomalies at the Porphyry South zone.
The survey detected a strong chargeable anomaly encircling the Porphyry South magnetic high. This "pyrite shell" indicates potential mineralisation, with the inner margins showing high copper results. These findings suggest a copper-enriched shell, marking a key drilling target.
Geophysical data shows a 1 km2 chargeable anomaly, consistent with a fertile porphyry system. Future drilling will focus on areas within the chargeable halo to further explore the mineralisation potential.
These results bolster confidence in the site's porphyry prospects, urging further exploration to capitalise on the mineral richness indicated by the survey.
