Guanajuato Silver Company Ltd. has announced the appointment of Colin Bower as Chief Operating Officer. Bower, a seasoned mining executive with over 35 years of experience, brings a wealth of expertise from his previous roles at First Majestic Silver, Barrick, BHP, and KGHM. His extensive background includes operational improvements and safety enhancements at various mines.

Bower previously served as Vice-President of Operations at First Majestic Silver Corp., where he successfully increased production and safety standards across three mines in Mexico. His assignment at Guanajuato Silver involves overseeing mining operations with a focus on safety, operational performance, and executing the Company's growth strategy.

James Anderson, Chairman & CEO, highlighted Bower's proven ability to strengthen mining assets, noting his experience aligns well with Guanajuato Silver’s goals. Bower's leadership is expected to drive the next phase of the Company's growth, particularly in its Mexican underground mines.
