ROUGIER Reports 2026 First-Half Financial Results

Groupe Rougier, a key player in African timber, has announced its financial results for the first half of 2026. Revenues decreased by 9.6% to €35.0 million, influenced by operational challenges and an adverse market environment. However, EBITDA improved significantly to €3.6 million, or 10.2% of revenues, up from 2.6% for the entire year of 2025.

The group experienced a net loss of €1.2 million but maintained stable net financial debt at €15.5 million. The first half was marked by operational disruptions in Gabon and diesel supply issues in Congo. Despite these setbacks, Congo's revenues rose by 21.2% driven by the clearance and sale of the previous year's stranded timber.

Heading into the second half, Rougier aims to stabilize its operations in Gabon, improve diesel availability in Congo, and continue cost-control measures to maintain financial equilibrium in uncertain conditions.
