Exail Technologies Secures New DriX O-16 Drone Order

Exail Technologies has announced a new order for its DriX O-16 surface drone, placed by OMS Group. This order follows a prior purchase by the same group in 2025, highlighting the rising demand for Exail's autonomous solutions in civil offshore applications.

The DriX O-16 will undertake subsea cable survey missions, offering extended operational endurance of up to 30 days and a range of 3,500 nautical miles. This drone facilitates cost-effective and environmentally friendly operations through remote supervision, aided by a center in Singapore.

Traditionally reliant on large crewed vessels with high operational costs, the market is shifting towards autonomous solutions like the DriX O-16, which offer a significant reduction in carbon footprint and enhanced safety by minimizing human exposure at sea.
