Grid Metals Partners with ICP Securities for Market Making Services
Grid Metals Corp., a mineral rights holder in Canada, has engaged ICP Securities Inc. for automated market making services to maintain liquidity in its shares. ICP will utilize its proprietary algorithm, ICP Premium®, to address temporary imbalances in share supply and demand. The contract, starting September 11, 2026, is initially for four months, renewable monthly. Grid Metals will pay ICP a monthly fee of C$7,500. No stock options or additional compensation are involved, and ICP holds no current interest in Grid Metals' securities.
ICP will independently manage the costs related to buying and selling Grid's shares. Despite its connection to Grid Metals, ICP remains an arm's length entity. The agreement awaits approval by the TSX Venture Exchange. This move suggests Grid's strategy to stabilize share trading amid its various mining interests across Manitoba, including the Falcon West Property known for cesium and lithium.
