Grand Finale of the 33rd UAE President Cup at Abu Dhabi Turf Club

The 33rd UAE President Cup for Arabian Purebred Horses concluded at the Abu Dhabi Turf Club under the patronage of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan attended the event, crowning HM Alchahine the winner of the evening's richest race, with a prize purse of AED 8 million. The horse, trained by Hilal and Tahnoon Al Alawi and ridden by Cristian Demuro, completed the 2,200-metre race in 2:23.55 minutes.

The event, featuring seven races, highlighted Abu Dhabi's global standing in Arabian horse racing. Dark Trooper, owned by Wathnan Racing, won the HH The President Cup for Thoroughbreds. The evening also showcased drone displays and the operetta 'Zayed's Dream, An Everlasting Dream'.

The opening race saw Samaa Al Ezz claim victory. Notably, Rasasi set a track record in the Yas Sprint for Arabian Purebreds. The collective prize money reached AED 10.8 million, drawing a large crowd of enthusiasts and dignitaries.
