GoldenPeaks Capital Unveils Solar Power Plant in Hungary

On September 4th, 2025, GoldenPeaks Capital inaugurated its flagship photovoltaic project in Bodroghalom, Hungary. Known as the Zemplén Solar Park, the facility marks a significant advancement in Hungary's renewable energy landscape.

The solar plant boasts an installed capacity of 64.56 MWp and generates approximately 94.6 GWh of electricity annually. This amount of clean energy can supply over 30,000 people each year and is expected to offset more than 860,000 tons of CO₂ emissions throughout its lifetime.

Since becoming operational in March 2025, the Zemplén Solar Park has consistently delivered reliable clean energy. It contributes to national grid stability and has engaged in the Frequency Restoration Reserve segment. In collaboration with the Faerch Group, the plant secures commercial stability through a 12-year physical PPA, bolstering Hungary's green energy aims.
