GMV Minerals Initiates Drilling at Mexican Hat Gold Project
GMV Minerals Inc., a Vancouver-based company, announced the mobilization of drilling operations at its Mexican Hat Gold project in Southeastern Arizona. The project is located 72 miles southeast of Tucson and is set for a fully funded 2026 drill and field season.
The company has contracted KP Exploration Inc. from Cottonwood, Arizona to drill approximately 30 holes, totaling around 7,000 meters of diamond drill core. The drilling, expected to start within seven days and last two months, aims to refine the resource model from an Inferred Mineral Resource. This effort underscores GMV's commitment to advancing the project's potential for gold production.
The Mexican Hat property holds an Inferred Mineral Resource of over 688,000 ounces of gold, with exploration dating back to the late 1980s by Placer Dome (USA).
