Gimv Acquires France's Cap Vert to Boost Growth
Gimv has announced an agreement to acquire Groupe Cap Vert, France's leading provider of tree and vegetation management services, from Ambienta. The acquisition, in partnership with CEO Eric Girot and the management team, aims to accelerate Cap Vert's organic growth and enhance its expertise.
Founded in 1984, Cap Vert specializes in urban and peri-urban tree pruning, ecological engineering, and landscape maintenance. The company, which generates nearly EUR 180 million in revenue, employs more than 1,200 people and has a robust presence in France through 60 branches.
With this investment, Cap Vert is set to rank among Gimv’s top holdings. The move aligns with market trends, emphasizing urban greening and biodiversity conservation. Cap Vert plans to expand its service portfolio and strengthen its European presence.
