Getlink's Shuttle Traffic Report for May 2026

In May 2026, Getlink reported a decrease in LeShuttle Freight traffic with 95,641 trucks transported, marking a 2% drop compared to May 2025. Since the start of the year, nearly 490,000 trucks have utilized the shuttle service across the Channel.

Conversely, LeShuttle recorded a 4% increase in passenger vehicle transport, involving 203,872 vehicles in May 2026. Cumulatively, over 750,000 passenger vehicles have made the crossing since January 2026.

The May data indicates a contrasting trend between freight and passenger transport. While truck transportation saw a decrease, passenger vehicle traffic demonstrated growth. This mixed performance is set against the backdrop of Getlink's continued focus on providing reliable cross-Channel services.
