Shuttle Traffic Decline in September 2025
Paris, 7 October 2025 - Getlink reported a decrease in shuttle traffic for September 2025. LeShuttle Freight transported 94,503 trucks, reflecting a 2% decline compared to September 2024. Since the beginning of the year, over 870,000 trucks have utilized the Channel Tunnel service.
Passenger vehicle transport also saw a reduction, with LeShuttle carrying 193,880 passenger vehicles in September, marking a 3% decrease from the previous year. Cumulatively, over 1.78 million passenger vehicles have been transported since January.
Comparative data shows a 2% decrease in truck shuttle usage and a 2% increase in passenger vehicles overall from January to September in 2025 versus the same period in 2024. The next traffic figures are set for release on November 7, 2025.
