Shuttle Traffic Decline in January 2026
In January 2026, LeShuttle Freight transported 95,922 trucks, marking a 5% decrease compared to January 2025. This decline was attributed to adverse weather conditions that complicated travel earlier in the month. Meanwhile, LeShuttle ferried 120,908 passenger vehicles, a 4% drop from the previous year.
These decreases reflect the challenges posed by weather disruptions. The February traffic data will be announced on Friday, March 6, 2026, ahead of market opening. Getlink SE, operating through Eurotunnel, continues to manage Channel Tunnel services and aims to maintain efficient transport despite these recent obstacles.
