March 2026 Shuttle Traffic Analysis

In March 2026, Getlink's LeShuttle Freight service transported 104,449 trucks across the Channel. This marks a 1% decline from March 2025 figures. Since the start of the year, approximately 295,000 trucks have utilised the service. In contrast, LeShuttle recorded a growth in passenger vehicle transport, with 132,232 vehicles carried, an increase of 8% compared to the same month in 2025. The year-to-date total for passenger vehicles reached over 367,500.

Analysis of the quarter from January to March 2026 shows a 2% decrease in truck traffic, contrasting with a subtle 1% decrease in passenger vehicles when compared to the same period in 2025. The company will release April's traffic data on 7 May 2026 before market activities commence.
