GESCO Achieves Solid First Half Performance in 2026
GESCO SE has reported a robust performance for the first half of 2026, despite ongoing challenging conditions. The industrial group saw its order intake rise by 13.2% to €272.0 million compared to the previous year. Sales increased by 4.8%, reaching €248.7 million. Operating profit (EBIT) showed a significant jump, up 52.9% to €12.7 million.
The Group's diversified portfolio helped cushion challenges across specific markets. The Materials Refinement & Distribution segment experienced notable growth, with order intake rising by 15.2% to €126.1 million, although order backlog declined. The Industrial Assets & Infrastructure segment also saw strong performance, driven by high demand and strategic acquisitions.
Despite challenges in the Health Care & Life Science segment, overall results support the management's guidance for the full year 2026, projecting revenues between €515 and €530 million and improved group earnings.
