Legal Disputes Between The Payments Group Holding and SGT Capital
The Payments Group Holding (PGH), based in Frankfurt, is embroiled in legal disputes with SGT Capital Group regarding financial claims totaling 5.4 and 7.2 million EUR. PGH alleges that SGT Group is trying to evade these claims in a questionable manner.
The claims originated from loans and expenses TGS24 Capital, a subsidiary of PGH, made against SGT entities. Despite counterclaims of 9.9 million EUR from SGT Group, PGH maintains that these are baseless and aimed at delaying settlements.
PGH's claims are seen as enforceable, backed by collateral agreements. The group believes it will recover its claims, potentially holding former directors or fund administrators liable for damages if offsets are proven false.
Legal proceedings continue, with attempts by SGT Group to curb PGH's public statements on the matter proving unsuccessful.
