Gemdale Gold's Promising Metallurgical Results at Pontio Project

Gemdale Gold Inc. has announced notable preliminary metallurgical test results from its Pontio Gold Project in Finland. Conducted by SLR Consulting in the UK, the tests explored processing routes for metal recoveries. Two processing routes were tested: gold leach recovery and bulk sulphide concentrate recovery. The tests achieved a 91% gold recovery using cyanide leach and up to 87.5% copper recovery in rougher concentrate. These findings indicate the potential for a saleable gold-copper concentrate and highlight the project’s economic feasibility.

Additional insights from the study suggest that the low sulphur content minimizes environmental impact. A bond work index of 18.16 kWh/t classifies the host rock as hard, similar to other significant projects. Gemdale's ongoing efforts aim to refine the process flow sheet, focusing on extraction and recovery optimization. The company anticipates these results will support their maiden Mineral Resource Estimate in early 2027, advancing its resource development plans.
