Geely Farizon, WeRide, and Kwoon Chung Unveil Right-Hand-Drive Robotaxis in Hong Kong

Geely Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group has announced a strategic collaboration with WeRide and Kwoon Chung Bus Holdings to introduce right-hand-drive Robotaxis at the 2026 International Automotive & Supply Chain Expo in Hong Kong. This initiative targets right-hand-drive markets, marking a significant step in global autonomous mobility.

The collaboration will utilize existing technologies from Geely Farizon’s GXR platform and WeRide’s autonomous driving expertise. Kwoon Chung has previously deployed left-hand-drive Robotaxis in Hong Kong, making it a fitting partnership to move towards mass production and operational trials in new regions.

Hong Kong, due to its international transport environment, will be the first to deploy these Robotaxis, supported by smart regulatory frameworks. This model is anticipated to expand to other right-hand-drive markets such as Singapore, the UK, Japan, and Australia.
