GEA Group Exceeds Expectations, Adjusts 2026 Guidance
GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft has announced preliminary figures for the second quarter of 2026 that surpass market expectations. The company reported an order intake of €1.49 billion, outperforming the VARA consensus of €1.41 billion. Its revenue reached €1.44 billion, higher than the €1.38 billion forecast. Organic revenue growth stood at 11.0 percent, compared to an expected 6.3 percent.
The company's EBITDA before restructuring expenses was €250 million, against a prediction of €233 million, resulting in an EBITDA margin of 17.4 percent compared to a forecast of 16.9 percent.
In light of these results, GEA has revised its fiscal year 2026 guidance. The organic revenue growth projection is now 6.0 to 8.0 percent, up from 5.0 to 7.0 percent. The EBITDA margin is anticipated to be between 17.0 and 17.4 percent, and the ROCE is expected to rise to 36.0 to 40.0 percent.
