GEA Launches EUR 500 Million Share Buyback Program
On August 5, 2026, GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft announced a new share buyback program valued up to EUR 500 million. The initiative, approved by the Annual General Meeting in April 2025, aims to repurchase shares between August 2026 and the end of 2027. The first tranche of EUR 250 million is set to begin immediately and conclude within seven months. Acquired shares will be cancelled post-program without reducing share capital.
The buyback includes an ESG component with a EUR 250,000 donation to Deutsche Universitätsstiftung, supporting STEM excellence in Germany. CEO Stefan Klebert emphasized confidence in GEA's growth. CFO Alexander Kocherscheidt highlighted GEA’s financial strength, noting its innovative market position bolstered by the ESG aspect. Regular updates will be available on GEA's website.
