Garrya Mu Cang Chai: A New Bamboo-Structured Wellness Retreat in Vietnam

Garrya Mu Cang Chai, the world's largest bamboo-structured wellness resort, has opened at 1,500 meters above sea level in Vietnam's northern highlands. This is Banyan Group's first Garrya property in the country, located within a protected heritage site in Lao Cai Province. The resort spans 6.5 hectares and combines authentic Vietnamese beauty with minimal commercial impact. It is surrounded by communities where Hmong traditions remain largely untouched.

The resort's architecture showcases Vietnamese bamboo craftsmanship and Hmong heritage. Guests are offered 110 accommodations designed to maximize mountain views. Central to the resort is the 8ELEMENTS Spa, featuring traditional Asian healing and hydrotherapy. Dining options include locally inspired seasonal menus and open-fire cooking.

Garrya Mu Cang Chai provides a unique experience in Lao Cai, away from commercial tourism. Guests can engage in guided treks and workshops led by local Hmong artisans. This setting offers an opportunity to connect with nature and culture in a genuine manner.
