Galway Metals Unveils Strong Gold Intercepts at Clarence Stream Project
Galway Metals Inc. announced assay results from 14 diamond drill holes at its 100%-owned Clarence Stream Gold Project in New Brunswick, revealing significant gold intercepts at the Southwest Deposit. The project spans a 65-kilometer gold-rich trend. Notable results include drill hole BL-323, which intersected 2.6 g/t Au over 48.0 meters, and BL-322, with 1.7 g/t Au over 31.0 meters.
Rob Hinchcliffe, Galway's President and CEO, emphasized the results' role in reinforcing the strength of the Southwest Deposit, as well as the potential for long-term development at Clarence Stream. The updated Mineral Resource Estimate reports 1.42 million ounces in the Indicated category and 1.29 million ounces in the Inferred category.
The drill results are crucial for understanding the continuity of gold mineralization, with BL-316 yielding 5.3 g/t Au over 5.0 meters and BL-313 achieving 3.1 g/t Au over 8.0 meters. These results aim to fill gaps and expand modelled zones within the existing pit shell.
