Galway Metals Launches 5,000-Metre Drill Program at Estrades with DOWA Funding
Galway Metals Inc. has initiated a 5,000-metre drill program at the Estrades Project, located in Québec's Abitibi region. This effort, forming part of a larger joint venture with DOWA METALS & MINING CO., aims to gather material for metallurgical work and refine geological understanding of the area. Originally mined by Breakwater Resources Ltd., the Estrades Project is noted for its high-grade, gold- and zinc-rich volcanic massive sulphide deposit.
Galway's President & CEO, Robert Hinchcliffe, highlights the collaborative venture with DOWA, underpinning the project's potential. This drill program is designed to complement ongoing evaluations, enhance resource assessments, and guide development strategies. With the site's history as a productive mining operation, Galway's current activities aim to lay groundwork for future decisions on potential production.
