Galantas Initiates Drilling Program at Indiana Gold Project in Chile
Galantas Gold Corporation has commenced a 5,000-metre diamond drilling program at its Indiana gold project near Copiapó, Chile. The initiative aims to refine drill spacing and gather essential geotechnical data for the mine's development plan. The program will explore high-grade gold mineralization in the Bondadosa and Flor de Espino veins.
The Indiana project, located within the copper-gold-silver belt of Chile's Atacama Region, benefits from excellent infrastructure and a skilled workforce. It covers 923 hectares with an inferred resource of 4.93 million tonnes at 2.24 g/t gold and 1.31% copper. Results from this program will aid in completing a Preliminary Economic Assessment by May 2026, marking a significant step toward project development in late 2026.
