Gabler Group AG Amplifies Maritime Solutions with DECK Marine Systems Acquisition

Gabler Group AG has officially secured a 75% stake in DECK Marine Systems OÜ, an Estonian developer specializing in maritime system solutions. This acquisition significantly boosts Gabler's technology portfolio, particularly in Submarine Systems and Subsea Communications & Data, by incorporating DECK's expertise in deploying and recovering subsea equipment.

The acquisition provides Gabler with essential access to the Baltic market amid increasing defense expenditures. DECK's technologies promise enhanced solutions by integrating mechanical systems with intelligent control, particularly crucial for the deployment and recovery of autonomous maritime systems.

Jevgeni Gorbatšov, co-founder of DECK, has taken the role of CEO, maintaining a 25% ownership. This positions Gabler for further growth in international markets, leveraging DECK's capabilities to meet the evolving demands of the maritime industry.
