Fuller, Smith & Turner Acquires 10 Prime Pubs

Fuller, Smith & Turner PLC, a renowned pubs and hotels business, has announced the acquisition of 10 iconic pubs. The transaction involves four freehold and six leasehold properties, predominantly situated in prime London areas, with one in central Bath. This £35.25 million purchase is financed through existing debt facilities. Completion of the purchase for the freehold properties is set for September, while the leasehold acquisitions will proceed pending landlords' consent.

Executive Chairman Simon Emeny expressed satisfaction with the acquisition, emphasizing its alignment with Fuller's strategic asset enhancement goals. He highlighted the inclusion of notable establishments like The Shipwrights Arms and The Duchess. This expansion is expected to complement Fuller’s existing portfolio and bolster earnings growth. Further updates are anticipated during the upcoming interim results presentation.
