FRIWO Faces Market Weakness Amidst Positive Order Momentum

FRIWO AG has experienced persistent market challenges in 2026, showing a decline in revenue to 42.3 million euros, with EBIT at -3.1 million euros. The company attributes this to weak macroeconomic conditions and loss of revenue from previously sold or discontinued operations. However, a positive book-to-bill ratio of 1.3 and an 18% increase in order intake offer some hope for 2027. The medical and healthcare sectors provided significant momentum, with long-term contracts boosting order intake.

Despite revenue declines in key areas such as E-Mobility and Transportation, FRIWO maintains a solid financial position with an equity ratio of 31.8% and reduced net debt. The company forecast a revised revenue target of 55 to 57 million euros for 2026. It aims for growth through new customer projects and strategic partnerships in quality and innovation-focused sectors, despite facing competitive pressures and price sensitivity in the market.
