Friedrich Vorwerk Posts Strong Q1 Revenue Despite Weather Challenges
Friedrich Vorwerk Group SE has reported a 5% increase in first-quarter revenue, reaching €139 million, despite unfavorable weather conditions. The company's EBITDA margin also saw a significant improvement, jumping 9 percentage points to 22.8%.
The company, which specializes in energy infrastructure for gas, electricity, and hydrogen, noted a robust order backlog and workforce expansion as drivers for the revenue growth. Production output rose by 14.3% to €173.7 million, while EBITDA surged by 74.7% to €31.8 million. Order intake for the quarter was €192.1 million, more than double the previous year's figure.
Friedrich Vorwerk holds cash reserves of €249.1 million as of March 31, 2026, indicating a strong position for future growth endeavors. The order backlog also increased to €1,074.3 million, including new joint venture projects.
