Friedrich Vorwerk Group SE Secures Contract in Central Asia
Friedrich Vorwerk Group SE's subsidiary, 5C-Tech GmbH, has been awarded a significant contract for its automated PX-II welding technology. This initiative marks a substantial step in the construction of the Beineu-Bozoy-Shymkent gas pipeline's second line in Kazakhstan. The expansion is set to double the pipeline's transport capacity from 15 billion to 30 billion cubic meters annually, boosting energy supply security and facilitating exports to China.
5C-Tech's advanced technology will be employed to produce over 28,000 weld joints of 42-inch diameter pipes over eight months. Previous successful implementations, including in northern Iraq in 2025, affirm the company's strategic international growth. Their innovative dual-torch system offers real-time adjustment capabilities, showcasing sophisticated sensor technology and computing power.
