Freenet AG Reports Strong Start to FY 2026

Freenet AG has announced a robust beginning to the financial year 2026, showcasing significant revenue growth and an increase in adjusted free cash flow. The company's revenues surged by 26.1% to €761.9 million, driven by the integration of mobilezone and increased IPTV customer acquisition. Despite a 3.6% decline in adjusted EBITDA to €122.0 million, the adjusted free cash flow rose by 10.4% to €85.7 million.

The mobile communications segment saw a rise to €658.8 million, with postpaid subscribers increasing by 29,000. However, the postpaid ARPU decreased to €16.6. The IPTV segment experienced dynamic growth with a 49.0% rise in adjusted EBITDA to €9.0 million, adding 42,000 new subscribers.

Freenet maintains its guidance for 2026, focusing on managing EBITDA impacts and further growth in the IPTV sector, ensuring stable cash flow. The executive board views these results as aligned with the company's financial ambitions for 2028.
