Fraport AG Outlines 2026 Business Plan and Dividend Resumption
Fraport AG, the operator of Frankfurt Airport, has announced its business plan for 2026, approved by the Supervisory Board. Key to this plan is the reinstatement of dividend payments for the 2025 fiscal year, scheduled for distribution in 2026.
The resumption is underpinned by solid operational performance and a positive outlook, despite expected initial declines in Group results for 2026. These declines are attributed to increased depreciation and higher interest expenses from capital expansions at Lima and Frankfurt airports.
Fraport anticipates improved free cash flow turning positive in 2026, helping to resume dividend payments and reduce debt. A EUR 1.00 per share dividend is planned for the 2025 fiscal year, marking the first payment since 2019, subject to approval at the 2026 Annual General Meeting.
