FDE Initiates Asset Divestment in Norway as Part of Portfolio Strategy
On October 26, 2026, French energy producer FDE announced the sale of its Norwegian subsidiary Greenstat AS's 56.04% stake in Elgane Vind AS to Zephyr AS. This move is part of FDE's strategy to streamline its portfolio by disposing of non-core assets. The agreed transaction value could reach up to NOK 4 million, subject to conditions, and represents a refocus on core cash-generating activities in mine gas and biogas.
FDE's CEO, Antoine Forcinal, emphasized the importance of prioritizing cash flow-generating assets. The sale supports FDE's strategic capital allocation and contributes to cash preservation objectives. Zephyr AS plans to continue the project initiated by FDE, focusing on local engagement and project development.
Moving forward, FDE remains committed to operational performance and sustainable cash flow generation, with the Annual Shareholders' Meeting scheduled for December 10, 2026.
