FORTEC Elektronik AG Revises Earnings Forecast for 2025/2026

FORTEC Elektronik AG has announced an adjustment to its earnings forecast for the financial year 2025/2026. The revision comes after preliminary figures revealed that anticipated revenue and earnings levels are unlikely to be met. The economic climate remains challenging, particularly for the data visualization sector, leading to increased costs relative to revenue. In the first half, the Group reported preliminary revenue of approximately EUR 37.7 million, slightly up from EUR 35.6 million the previous year. However, EBIT stood at a modest EUR 0.4 million, compared to EUR 0.2 million.

The financial outlook suggests that the Group's EBIT will break even by the end of the fiscal year, with projected revenue adjusted to EUR 76-80 million. Geopolitical tensions, notably the Gulf region conflict, have induced economic uncertainties, affecting forecasts. Rising operational expenses, particularly in energy, are anticipated due to inflation. The Management Board plans to re-evaluate medium-term forecasts with these economic conditions in mind for 2026/2027.
