Formation Metals Submits ATI Application for Quebec Drill Program
Formation Metals Inc., based in Vancouver, announces it has submitted its Autorisation de Travaux d'exploration à Impacts (ATI) application to Quebec's Ministère des Ressources naturelles et des Forêts. This is a significant step in their fully funded 5,000-metre drill program at the N2 Gold Project. The project boasts a historic resource of 877,000 ounces of gold, located in the Abitibi sub-province.
The ATI permit, expected within 30 to 40 days, allows commencement of drilling operations. Formation has engaged local municipalities and Indigenous communities, emphasizing responsible development. CEO Deepak Varshney highlights the milestone as part of their 2025 exploration ambitions.
Drilling will target the "A" zone, known for its continuous gold deposits, and the "RJ" zone, noted for high-grade gold intercepts. These efforts follow Balmoral Resources' prior work, now Wallbridge Mining, which identified multiple unexplored targets.
