Formation Metals Identifies Promising Gold Targets at N2 Project
Formation Metals Inc. announced significant gold intercepts from its ongoing drilling campaign at the N2 Gold Project in Quebec. Notable results include drillhole N2-25-008, which yielded 0.95 g/t Au over 61.1 metres, including 1.68 g/t Au over 26.5 metres. This, alongside results from N2-25-007 and N2-25-010, confirms the existence of a high-grade, bulk-tonnage system, enhancing the geological model's reliability.
The campaign aims to validate historical findings and explore an 8-kilometre target corridor. Secondary and tertiary vein sets discovered above and below the main target indicate potential for a larger open-pit resource than initially assessed. With 33 drillholes completed, assays for 20 are still pending.
The N2 Project comprises a historic resource of approximately 871,000 ounces and is strategically positioned in a historically rich mining region with robust infrastructure supporting development.
