FireFox Gold Expands Exploration Efforts in Finland

FireFox Gold Corp. has announced the expansion of its drilling activities at the Mustajärvi and Sarvi projects in Lapland, Finland. The company has completed 13,945 meters of drilling at Mustajärvi, surpassing their previous target of 10,000 meters. The project will resume in August after a brief pause. Meanwhile, FireFox has initiated a follow-up drilling campaign at the Sarvi project, located near Mustajärvi, with the engagement of a second drilling contractor.

The Sarvi drilling will focus on the continuity of gold mineralization found in previous drillings, with initial findings indicating 27.48 g/t Au over 1.75 meters. Geophysical surveys have helped identify new targets, promising further exploration potential. The company aims to capitalize on its extensive data to release a maiden mineral resource estimate in the second half of 2026.

CEO Carl Löfberg highlighted the strategic significance of operating two drill rigs in parallel, enhancing exploration efficiency across FireFox's seven projects. Near-term objectives at Sarvi include testing high-grade gold continuity through advanced geophysical techniques, indicating potential sulphide-rich mineralization.
