Fineqia Invests in Satsuma Technology Amid Rising Digital Asset Treasury Activity
Fineqia International Inc. has announced its investment in Satsuma Technology PLC, a London Stock Exchange-listed company. Satsuma, previously known as Tao Alpha Plc, has raised approximately £163.6 million through a convertible loan note financing, with part of the amount reportedly settled in Bitcoin. This funding will support Satsuma's operational growth and Bitcoin treasury development.
As of late September, Satsuma's market capitalization stood at £8.71 million. The company's treasury policy allows for non-working capital reserves to be held in Bitcoin. Satsuma currently reports holdings of 1,148 BTC. Additionally, Satsuma has been working on decentralized AI infrastructure on the Bittensor network.
The investment aligns with Fineqia's strategy to expand in decentralization technologies, Web 3.0, and AI. It offers exposure to a publicly listed entity active in Digital Asset Treasury (DAT) and AI infrastructure developments.
