Electricité et Eaux de Madagascar (EEM) and Société Anonyme Immobilière Parisienne de la Perle et des Pierres Précieuses (SAIPPP) have been informed that a money laundering complaint has been dismissed. The Peruvian Public Prosecutor's Office confirmed this decision on June 25, 2025, following a review initiated in 2024. The complaint concerned the 2018 acquisition of an 11,852 m² building in Lima, owned by Soumaya, a Peruvian company majority-owned by SAIPPP.

The Public Prosecutor's decision concludes the preliminary investigation, finding no money laundering offenses against Soumaya or his managers. The building in question was sold at the end of 2024 by SAIPPP after the case was reopened. This conclusion marks the end of the legal proceedings.
