FIGEAC AÉRO Secures New Agreement for Rafale Engine Component
FIGEAC AÉRO, recognized for its collaboration with major aerospace firms, has announced an agreement with Safran Aircraft Engines. This pact involves the development of a metal structural part for the M88 engine of the Rafale fighter, thus enhancing the company's engagement in the Rafale military program.
The strategic alliance with Safran emphasizes FIGEAC AÉRO's expertise in manufacturing complex engine components. Production will occur in France, leveraging facilities in Figeac and SN Auvergne Aéronautique, with initial deliveries scheduled for the 2026/27 financial year.
Thomas Girard, Deputy CEO, expressed satisfaction with the ongoing partnership, underscoring the program's role in boosting European defense. The collaboration aligns with plans to increase Rafale production. FIGEAC AÉRO is on track to achieve its revenue target, aiming for €80-100 million in new business by March 2028.
