FCA Removes NewDay Funding 2018-1 PLC from Official List
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has announced the removal of NewDay Funding 2018-1 PLC from the Official List, effective 18 August 2026. The removal affects several classes of asset-backed floating rate notes due on 15 August 2026. These notes include Class A1, A2, B, C, D, E, and F, registered in various denominations and currencies.
An overview of the notes indicates they were fully paid and registered chiefly in GBP and USD. The decision was issued by Market Oversight, and investors had been informed through a regulatory announcement by EQS Group. The securities were listed for trading on recognized investment exchanges, including the London Stock Exchange.
The removal emphasizes the importance of compliance with listing requirements, as highlighted by the FCA. Investors and market participants should take note of this update regarding their asset-backed securities portfolios.
