Faraday Copper Shareholders Approve Key Acquisition
Faraday Copper Corp. announced that its shareholders have approved the share issuance related to acquiring the San Manuel project from BHP Group. During a special meeting, 188,256,206 common shares were voted, representing over 64% of total shares. An overwhelming 99.97% voted in favor, while only 0.03% opposed. This resolution was a prerequisite for concluding the transaction.
The acquisition still requires fulfilling customary closing conditions, with expectations to finalize by the end of the third quarter of 2026. Additionally, the Investment Canada Act condition for the transaction has been satisfied, paving the way for the project's integration.
The San Manuel project is adjacent to Faraday's Copper Creek Project in Arizona. Faraday is well-positioned financially to progress its mining endeavors, benefiting from a seasoned management team.
