FAMAR Appoints Bruce Vielle as New CEO
FAMAR, a prominent European contract development and manufacturing organization, announced the appointment of Bruce Vielle as Chief Executive Officer, starting August 3, 2026. He replaces Dr. Riku Rautsola, interim CEO since autumn 2025, ensuring a seamless transition of leadership.
Bruce Vielle brings extensive experience in leading multi-site manufacturing organizations. Previously, he served as CEO of Meribel Pharma Solutions, overseeing 2,000 employees across 13 sites in Europe. Vielle's background includes leadership roles at Vétoquinol and Unither, focusing on operational execution and supply reliability. He holds an Executive MBA from HEC Paris.
MidEuropa, FAMAR's shareholder, continues to support the company's investments in new technologies, particularly expanding sterile offerings. This aims to enhance FAMAR's responsiveness and customer support, pivotal for its growth strategy.
